Jr High/High School Math Teacher

This year we have added one new teacher to our Jr. High/high school staff. John Bister will be teaching Jr. High math and science and high school math. John Bister, Jr. graduated from Washington State University with a BS in theoretical mathematics. He has also attended Teachers College/Columbia University to work toward his MA in Secondary Mathematics. John is a dedicated Christian who gives God the credit for his desire and inspiration to teach. With his background, he is well-equipped to prepare students for exams such as the SAT and ACT (college preparatory tests). His student teaching in the Bronx has taught him how to adjust his teaching techniques to reach students of diverse backgrounds. John has been involved in the Air Force Junior ROTC, football, rugby, track, and drama. John will fill a vital role in completing our Jr. high/high school staff.
