GCS Seeks Missions Coordinator
We are looking for someone interested in a volunteer position as Missions Coordinator for Grace Christian School
The GCS board has established the "official" volunteer position of Missions Coordinator. Individuals interested in filling this position should send a letter of interest explaining their qualifications and reasons for interest to the school via mail (Attn: Missions Coordinator Position), or via email (gcs@gladstoneaog.org).
Missions Coordinator responsibilities:
- Solicit and research age appropriate opportunities for our students and families to be involved in community service and missions outreach projects with a focus on our immediate community and surrounding area.
- Draft detailed proposals for such activities for approval by the school board.
- Coordinate approved activities with parents, school staff, students, and the community.
- Participate in school staff meetings as requested by the Principal, and attend board meetings upon request (generally quarterly).
- Provide quarterly reports to the school board.
In addition to being generally qualified for the tasks associated with this position, applicants should be confessing Christians in regular fellowship with a local church. Applicants must support the mission and statement of beliefs of Grace Christian School and be living a lifestyle consistent with Biblical principles.
