Mary Parker
Mrs. Parker teaches Sr. high classes and is the assistant to the Principal.
My name is Mary Parker and I teach a variety of high school courses from P.E. to electives such as the Holocaust. I am also Mrs. Denham’s Administrative Assistant. I have worked full time at Grace Christian School for 7 years but had volunteered for almost 11 years before that. I enjoy watching the children at Grace as they learn and interact with the teachers and other students.
I grew up in Kensington, Connecticut. After graduating from Berlin High School, I attended Northeastern University in Boston, studying Therapeutic Recreation and then transferred to Central Connecticut Community College studying Business Management. While living in Boston, I was able to study our heritage first hand. I believe this contributed to my great love of history today. I also was able to attend many Boston Red Sox games which cemented my love for baseball.
I married my high school sweetheart, Steve. We have been married just over 22 years and have 4 children. Our oldest son, Steven, is a freshman this year, attending PCC. Elizabeth (16), Michael (13) and Joshua (10) all attend GCS.
I am proud to say that I am a parent of children that attend(ed) Grace Christian School.
