DiAnne Strauss
Mrs. Strauss is the first grade teacher.
I am DiAnne Strauss and I teach the First grade at Grace Christian School. I’ve worked here for over 30 years. Over the years, I have taught in our pre-school, became our first Kindergarten teacher, continued on to first then second grade. I love first grade and that’s where I’ve stayed.
My husband Bill and I have been married 48 years. We have 2 adult children (married) and 5 beautiful grandchildren. I’ve had the joy to be their First Grade Teacher. Eons ago I started my education pursuing a degree in Commercial Art and Design in Eugene. We moved to Portland where I worked doing store and window displays, and taught design and sewing classes for an Oregon company. I still love Art and Designing-but God’s plan for me at Grace Christian School has been such a blessing. Teaching is my heartbeat, my joy.
