Amy Banks
Ms. Banks teaches 4th grade, and is in her 3rd year at GCS.
My name is Amy Banks and this is my second year at Grace Christian School. I graduated from Northwest Christian College with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. After graduating, I moved to the Portland area where I worked as a preschool teacher for three years. During this time, I completed my Master’s degree in Elementary Math from Western Governors’ University.
In 2007, I came to Grace Christian School where I began teaching the Fourth grade. I have also been involved in the 2008 Christmas Program and I am the co-coach of our school’s dance team, The J-Steppers. My favorite subjects are math and PE. I also enjoy teaching history and science because I learn so much when I teach. I look forward to getting to know all the families here at Grace Christian School.
